Spritz Up Your Life this Summer

The first time I wrote about seltzer water, one of my favorite summertime beverages, I confessed it's not the best for workouts “... feeling too burp-y, gassy, and bloated...”

However, for all other times of the day, drink with abandon.

On those days that are hot, humid and out of control (kind of like the past couple days here in Boston) carbonated water can really cool a person down.

Despite the fizz, bubbly water hydrates just as well as regular water. It's a great way to balance out summer cocktails and you can even water your poison down by making a wine spritzer!

Adding fresh herbs like muddled mint and a squeeze of lime gives a fresh flavor, whether there's alcohol added or not. Not to mention, would make a cute DIY seltzer bar set up for a bridal shower or other type of soirée.
