Super Charged Green Smoothie Recipe
Not to be a party pooper for you summer lovers, but fall is right around the corner and that means cooler temps are a comin'.
With that said, why not add a chilled green smoothie to your day while the sun's still hot?
Here's a simple go-to recipe of mine for an any-time-of-day smoothie; chock full of nutrients that will boost our immunity, reduce the risk of disease, and help with losing weight or maintaining a healthy one.

Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 cup baby spinach, or other leafy green of choice
1/8 avocado
¼ cup greek plain, nonfat yogurt
1 banana
1 tsp nut butter - choose the kind without added sugar
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (water works well, too)
Other additions: cinnamon, chia seeds, hemp seeds
Ice - 6 ice cubes usually does the trick on a hot day!
Method:
Liquify all ingredients in a blender and savor the flavor of your nourishing, delicious smoothie.
