Low Sugar Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Admittedly, baking is not my strong suit.
I actually used baking powder instead of baking soda my first round making these. And it wasn't the first time I've had a mishap in the kitchen. At least this time, I didn't burn anything and no firemen were involved in the process...
These cookies satisfied even my big a** sweet tooth, so hopefully they will do the trick for you, too!
12 cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla
2 Eggs
2 1/2 cup oats
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Method:
Preheat oven to 350*F and lightly grease two cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, combine ingredients well. Spoon dough and spread evenly on pan. Bake for ~20 minutes, until golden and crispy. Enjoy with a glass of milk- my favorite is unsweetened vanilla almond milk!
